Announcement of my Fiction Press account!

anartisticdreamerGood news everyone! After my long journey of finding a semi serious site for my original fiction where I can organize my work, gain feedback, and receive beta readers, I have found fictionpress!
What is fictionpress? Thank of it as essentially fanfiction.net for original work. Ironically, that in itself applies more to Wattpad than fictionpress, since Wattpad is nothing more than bad fanfiction with real OCs everywhere while fictionpress seems to be welcome to more, serious work (All with an exception of erotica, but that's not surprising considering fanfiction.net's puritan actions).
I know that fanfiction.net as a site is pretty much dead, with everyone feeling sad and betrayed and moving to AO3. And honestly, I don't blame you for doing that. Even though I wasn't around back when the ban happened, nor was I at the age to care, from what I heard, it was basically as bad and as horrific as the Tumblr ban. And like the Tumblr ban, fanfiction.net has felt kind of empty with it pretty much being filled with bad crossover fanfiction made by little kids. (Will not be surprised if the name fate happens to Tumblr).
In spite of that, fictionpress seems like a very great site, with it's ability to have a ton of potential beta readers from your disposal from the minute you open your account, to be being very willing and accepting of original work. All very important pros to me. I'll still put some of my work on AO3, but 90 percent of Time is Approaching and EOTH will stay on Fictionpress, same with
Children of the Stars while my proses will stay on my blog. Obviously, due to their anti NSFW guidelines, all NSFW stories will be on my AO3 and future Pillowfort.

As far as the concern of my work being dying on fictionpress due to it's rules, I will of course have all stories backed on a TB and a mega. I'll also have uploads on AO3 if that were the case, but will meantime mirror all fiction here on my blog like I always do.
(All in all however, I doubt will happen since besides a few possible sex scenes, it's not actual porn and erotic non pornographic work is allowed).
